Nike Foamposite

A truly unique innovation from Nike, the Foamposite was first released in 1997. Created by Nike designer Eric Avar, the shoe is made of a unique foam material that was shaped using specialized molding— a process that made Foamposites remarkably expensive when they were released. The first Foamposite also served as the foundation for a family of models including the Foamposite Max, Flightposite and more. The Nike Foamposite comes in men’s, women’s, kids' and toddler sizing with popular colors including red, purple and green. Key Foamposite colorways include the Foamposite Max “Metallic Silver,” Foamposite “Wu-Tang and Foamposite "Royal."
