Timberland 6-Inch

Timberland’s 6-inch boots trace their history back to 1976 when workwear outfitters Abington Shoe Co. launched a model named the Timberland Waterproof Boot. The style was so popular that Abington eventually changed its company name to Timberland. In the years to follow, the yellow nubuck or “Wheat” colorway became a cultural icon during the 1990s thanks to musicians like Biggie, Nas and many others. Timberland boots achieved new street-level relevance, changing the reputation of the boot forever. Key versions include the original “Wheat” as well as collaborative versions alongside the NBA and Champion.
