Adidas NMD Runner

Short for Nomad, the adidas NMD_R1 was introduced in late 2015 and fused elements of three adidas silhouettes: the Micro Pacer, Rising Star and Boston Super. Featuring a Primeknit upper and Boost cushioning in the sole, the shoe became one of adidas’ most popular silhouettes, spawning a full NMD franchise including models like the NMD Hu and the NMD_S1. The original NMD is beloved in its white and black in-line versions, and collaborators like BAPE have gone on to rework the sneaker.
