30 years after Nike introduced the first Air Max model in 1987, Nike celebrated the franchise’s 30th birthday with the Air Max 2017. Picking up on cues and design features from previous Air Max models, the Air Max 2017 updates the historic franchise for the modern day. The design features a full-length bubble sole which first appeared on the Air Max 97, as well as llightweight and breathable upper features Nike’s Flymesh material. Key colorways include the “Pure Platinum,” “Triple Black” and “Wolf Grey” versions.
