First seen in 1989, the Nike Air Stab is a cult favorite sneaker that has been brought back a few times over the years. Designer Tinker Hatfield wanted to enhance the support and protection on the Air Max Stab (short for stability) and created a footbridge system, utilizing a midfoot overlay that connected the toebox with the eyestay. A visible Max Air unit and ‘AIR STAB’ lettering on the heel finish the look.
