Designed by Tinker Hatfield, the Air Trainer SC was part of the broader Air Trainer collection, which started with the Air Trainer 1 in 1987. A multipurpose cross-training style, the Air Trainer SC is primarily associated with Bo Jackson, who is known for achieving All-Star status in both the MLB and NFL. Jackson was also the subject of Nike’s famous “Bo Knows” campaign. The Air Trainer SC came out in 1990 and is most recognizable in its “Raiders” and “Auburn” colorways.
