Inspired by the philosophy of barefoot running, Nike’s Free Run franchise kicked off in 2004 and now includes an entire family of sneakers. The franchise started with the Nike Free 5.0 V1, which introduced the Free Run’s highly flexible sole unit and features deep grooves from the sole’s heel to its toe.
