Nike introduced the fourth signature shoe for LeBron James, the LeBron 4, in 2006. A universe apart from the look and feel of the LeBron 3, the 4 features a unique design that is absent of a conventional midsole. The shoe’s Nike Free-esque grooved sole is fused directly to an upper made from Nike’s Foamposite technology, bringing the material back for the first time since 2003. The LeBron 4 was first launched in a Cavaliers-inspired colorway, while additional color schemes included the 'Black Anthracite' 2023 and 'Fruit Pebbles' versions.
